KEY FEATURES OF AGGRESSIVE SKATES
Aggressive skates are inline skates that are specially designed for park and street cruising. After becoming massively popular worldwide in the mid-nineties, the quality of today’s aggressive skating products has never been higher. As the practice grew, so did the skill level of skaters, which meant manufacturers had to work to keep up with the new ways skaters were using aggressive inline skates.
Over time tricks became more technical and grind-based. Soul plates got bigger to account for this, and skate frames were developed to make grind tricks on rails and ledges easier. Aggressive skate wheels got smaller for more stability, and skate liners have now been designed to a standard that gives the skater greater comfort and greater control. The attention to detail in the manufacturing processes and the marketing of products makes us proud to be involved in the industry.

THE EVOLUTION OF AGGRESSIVE INLINE SKATING: FROM SKATE PARKS TO THE STREET
The first ever aggressive inline skates were produced by the Roller brand in 1988, with the sport quickly becoming popular by the mid-90s. One of their most unique elements is the noticeable gap between the second and third wheel, which along with the ‘soul plate’, allows the rider to grind on hard surfaces. Smaller wheels are another important feature that also prioritise the rider’s safety by reducing the chance that they catch on obstacles whilst grinding.
Today, aggressive inline skating is more popular than ever and we are proud to supply options from a range of first-class local and global brands. Our staff also has the experience and in-depth knowledge to answer any questions you may have.
CUSTOMISING YOUR AGGRESSIVE INLINE SKATES: CHOOSING THE RIGHT FRAMES, WHEELS, AND BEARINGS
Whether they skate on half-pipes or the streets, every skater has their own unique preferences. Luckily, you can customise skates to meet these needs. In order to choose the best possible aggressive inline skates, we recommend that you consider the following aspects;
Frames – The easiest way to customise your skates. Here, you can select different mount points, sizes, materials, weights and more.
Wheels – A very important choice. Wheels come in various core styles, sizes, and levels of hardness and grip.
Bearings – An essential element that enables the wheels to spin. Generally speaking, the higher the ABEC rating, the better the rolling experience your bearing provides.
