Local News: Not much has happened in the Brisbane Skateboarding world this week. We at Extreme Skates have officially added Sam Willson onto our skateboarding team. Sam rips, you’ll see him destroying Jindalee skatepark pretty much every day of the week but he also kills it on the street ! You can follow Sam on instagram @svm.sung Sam has been skating since he was a young young grommet. We first met Sam when he used to come into the shop at the young age of 7 to get his skateboards and other skate gear from us. We are so excited and happy to be supporting Sam in his skating career. Sam skates jindo (Jindalee skatepark) Bellbowrie Paddington and city spots and in his free time he also works part time for Extreme Skates. Sam's favourite ticks are Varial Heels - BS Feeble Grinds - FS Lip slides. One day his goal is to skate NY and San Fran... Sam's set up is 8.25 creature decks ( "cause they are good for bowl and street") Indy truck and spitfire "lockins" wheels 54-56 are his choice of size.."(because he likes to go fast") Sam's standard bearings are Bones REDS..they never let him down.
Breaking News: In breaking news, Torey Pudwil and Daewong Song have shocked the world and teamed up to create their very own company. The company is called Thankyou Skateboard Co. They have also uploaded a heavy promo vid on the thrasher site to promote their new brand, and I must say, Torey has definitely set the record for the longest Back Tail slide... After Chico Brenes departure from Chocolate Skateboards I have feeling he might be joining the ranks for Thankyou Skateboard Co aswell. In other news everyone’s favourite big pop skater, Tiago Lemos has been officially added to the pro ranks of Primitive Skateboarding. Thankyou Skateboard co Promo vid:
